Romantic Portland Wedding | Coopers Hall & Hoyt Arboretum

Rain was sliding out of the sky, tears falling on his face as she walked towards him.

They were surrounded by redwoods and their closest people who came from all over to celebrate with them in Portland. Their day was full of so many sweet moments, some of my favorite being:

-A quiet morning getting ready in downtown Portland with their bulldog Sophie and some teary words they shared to each other through their wedding video.

-A beautiful woodsy ceremony at the Hoyt Arboretum, just outside of town

-Judy giving Sophie a huge kiss right after the ceremony

-Judy surprised BJ with a live bluegrass band, his reaction when they walked through the doors together was beyond heartfelt. They danced to Neil Young's Harvest moon- one of the most romantic songs out there, as far as I'm concerned

-All of the thoughtful details that Vanity Affair Events put together at Coopers Hall, including blooms EVERYWHERE.

While this wedding had all of the stunning details that make a wedding a photographer's delight, the true joy for me was capturing all of the moments that happen when you put together a group of people who are bonded by love and support of two people's marriage.
