I've recently discovered that I have this view of love that in order for it to be romantic, there has to be a level of martyrdom. You know, the whole "I would die for you" vibe. I tend to view love as a heavy emotional thing. Which it totally is, and something I've found fulfillment in exploring artistically.
But these two.
They reminded me that sometimes that earth-shattering kind of love is about LAUGHING, and joy and teasing and and happiness and being with someone who makes your sides hurt from alllll of the laughs. Yeah, we created some really beautiful mood-filled imagery, but I loved all of the natural laughs that these two shared. And that lost shot, of them playing in the meadow? Man, THAT'S love.
Steady as the stars in the woods
