2016 | A Year in Review

This year.

Wow. My first full year doing nothing but create photographs with people wildly in love. The year my love asked me to his wife in Paris. The year I went from Peru to Alaska to France to Canada. The year I let myself believe that this is it- this is what I was born to do.

I have nothing but a heart full of love for the amazing people that took me all over the world and my beautiful country to document their love, not the glossy-perfect-make-everyone-jealous kind, the real thing. The raw, real, run around being in love kind. Thank you.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from this year. If you're lucky, you might even make it to the end of this post, where there is a life-loving person who bared it all to run down an open road to experience what being FREE feels like.

And one little snippet of myself at the very end of me being overjoyed with my FIANCE.

Love all of you who make this life possible for me. Stay Wild. xx

We stood
Steady as the stars in the woods
So happy-hearted
And the warmth rang true inside these bones

2015 | A Year of Growth

Let's talk about fear.

When I woke up this time last year, I had no idea what I was going to do. I set a few goals for photography (that I accomplished! yay!) but wasn't sure where it fit in my life. I was balancing school, an internship, a traveling job for big oil, and making photographs whenever I could.

Surrounded by words like "we must travel in the direction of our fear," and "when there's nothing left to burn, set yourself on fire," I listened to those around me and set all of that aside.  I was terrified, true, but even more than that I was so excited to chase this dream.

So thank you 2015. For being a year of working harder than I knew was possible and for the gifts that work returned. I celebrated a gallery show, incredible travels, working with top agencies in L.A., the most incredible wedding clients, but most importantly, discovering that this is the work that I was created to do.

So those goals and resolutions you made? If the thought of doing them sparks something in you? Build them will everything you have.

Excited for all that 2016 will bring, but first, I wanted to share a few of my favorites from 2015.

Thanks for following along.
